How to install and use your Unicorn Jelly Cursors and Icons:

This README file assumes you haven't the faintest idea how to install Icons or Cursors on your computer. If you already know what you're doing, chances are you won't even be reading this. I apologize to anyone who may feel patronized by the choice of language used, but it's geared for those who have little or no skill. Feel free to skim to the parts you need. This whole setup procedure assumes that your system has been set up with the main operating system set up on the "C:" drive of you computer in a directory named "WINDOWS" specifically. You may need to change the directions to suit your systems configuration, if it does not match the default I have based this on. Advanced users with different configurations should be able to edit the REG file with little difficulty.

In the archive itself, you will probably notice that the icons and cursors are "set" to unzip into new directories. These two directories will be located in the WINDOWS folder. If you're unzipping program does not create these directories for you, you will need to make them, and transfer the files to their respective folders for the UniJelly.reg file to work correctly.

See below for detailed instruction for this, should you need them.

To set up and use the Cursors:

In Explorer, open the folder "WINDOWS/CURSORS/Unicorn Jelly" and double-click the file "UniJelly.reg". You will be asked: "Are you sure you want to add the information in C:\WINDOWS\CURSORS\Unicorn Jelly\UniJelly.reg to the registry?" Click Yes, then open your control panel. Double click your Mouse icon, and select the tab for Pointers or Cursors, whichever your system has available. You will be able to choose the scheme "Unicorn Jelly" from the drop-down list. Review what's there, and choose OK. Your cursor should now be Uni-Kun! The tip of his Horn is the point of your cursor. Have Fun!

To use the Icons:

This can easy or complicated, depending on the system you have, and whether you have Theme support of not. For any common shortcut icon, simply right-click the icon you wish to change, and choose "Properties" from the sub-menu. Then choose "Change Icon", and browse your way to the WINDOWS\Icon Resources\Unicorn Jelly directory, and choose whichever icon you heart desires! Choose OK, and you have a new Unicorn Jelly Icon applied! For System icons, you may need some sort of Theme support on you system. This usually means Microsoft Plus!, but there are a few other shareware and freeware programs available that do the same thing. You'll need to follow the directions of that program for specific results. I wish I could detail the procedure for all the programs I know, but it's a little too ambitious a project.

Directions for manually creating the Directory Structure:

Both new directories will be created within the WINDOWS directory, for simplicity. The path structures for both required directories looks like this:

WINDOWS\Icon Resources\Unicorn Jelly
WINDOWS\CURSORS\Unicorn Jelly

Simply put, you must make a new directory called "Icon resources" within the WINDOWS directory. We'll be using the existing CURSORS directory. Simply add a "Unicorn Jelly" directory within each of those two. From there, simply add all the .ICO file to the folder in Icon Resources, and all the rest of the file to the folder in CURSORS. Not too complicated, really.
